# Editorial policy

## Who writes our posts

Our posts are signed **Cliqto Media Editorial**. That name means our team, not one person.

We use AI tools for research and first drafts. A person on our team reads each post and decides if it goes live.

## How we choose products

We write about products that can help our readers. Some are ours, like our [Apify Actors](/actors/) and [browser extensions](/extensions/). Some are from other companies. When a product is ours, we say so.

No company can pay us for a review, and no company can pay us to change what we write.

## Used or researched

Each review says which of these two things is true:

- **We used it.** We used the product ourselves before we wrote the review.
- **We researched it.** We did not use the product. We studied public information about it.

## Partner links

Some links in our posts are partner links. If you buy or sign up through one, the company may pay us a commission. You pay the same price.

Partner links have a dashed line under them. A post with partner links has a short note near the top. Read more in our [affiliate disclosure](/legal/affiliate-disclosure/).

## How we update posts

Products and prices change. We read posts with partner links again every six months. When we change a post in a real way, we show the new date as **Updated** at the top of the post.

Write to [hello@cliqtomedia.com](mailto:hello@cliqtomedia.com). Tell us the page and what is wrong. We read each message, and we fix the post if the mistake is real.
