## Who we are

This website, cliqtomedia.com, is run by Cliqto Media. Cliqto Media is an independent digital media company. We build our own brands, websites and tools, like Apify Actors and browser extensions. Our Apify Actors run on Apify. Our browser extensions have their own privacy policies on their product pages. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Cliqto Media. "You" means a person who visits this website or contacts us.

For the emails you send us, we are the controller: we decide what happens with them.

This policy covers this website only. It does not cover our browser extensions, Apify or other websites we link to. Those sites have their own policies.

## What data we collect

We try to collect as little as possible.

**When you visit the site.** This is a static website. There are no accounts, no logins, no forms and no comments. We do not ask you for any data. We do not build a profile of you.

Our host, Cloudflare, must handle some technical data to send the pages to your browser. This data includes:

- your IP address;
- your browser and device type (the "user agent");
- the page you asked for and the time of the request;
- the referring page, if your browser sends it.

We do not use this data to find out who you are. We do not combine it with other data.

**When you email us.** If you write to us, we get the data you choose to send. Usually this is:

- your name and email address;
- the text of your message and any files you attach;
- the date and time of your message.

Please do not send us sensitive data, such as health data, passwords or payment card numbers. We do not need it.

**When you run our Actors on Apify.** You do this on the Apify website, not on our site. Apify is responsible for your Apify account data. More about this below in "Services we use".

## Why we use it

We use data only for clear reasons:

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use it for automated decisions about you. We do not add you to a mailing list without your clear consent.

## Cookies

We do not set any cookies on this website. We do not use tracking pixels, fingerprinting or similar tools. Because of this, you do not see a cookie banner here.

We do not run any advertising scripts. We do not use Google Analytics.

To count visits, we use **Cloudflare Web Analytics**. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other websites. It shows us only totals, for example how many people opened a page, which sites sent them and which countries they came from. It does not show us who you are.

Our fonts are served with the site itself. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service when you open our pages.

Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical measures to protect the site from bots and attacks. This is part of hosting and security. It is not used for tracking or ads.

If we ever change this, we will update this page first.

## Services we use

**Cloudflare (hosting).** The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare delivers the pages, protects the site and counts visits (Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies). It processes the technical request data listed above. Cloudflare may process data in many countries. Read the [Cloudflare privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).

**Email.** Mail to our addresses at cliqtomedia.com goes through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google (Gmail) mailbox. Cloudflare forwards the message; Google stores it. Both act on our behalf. Read the [Google privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).

**Apify (our Actors).** Our Apify Actors run on the Apify platform. When you follow an Apify link, you leave this website.

- Our links to Apify include an affiliate parameter (`fpr=cliqto`). It tells Apify that you came from us. Apify may use it to pay us a commission. See our [affiliate disclosure](/legal/affiliate-disclosure/).
- On the Apify website, the [Apify privacy policy](https://apify.com/privacy-policy?fpr=cliqto) applies, not this one.
- Apify handles your account and payments under its own privacy policy. For that data, Apify is the controller.
- The data you put into a run (your input) and the results belong to you. You decide what to collect and why, so you are the controller of that data. Apify processes it for you under its [Data Processing Addendum](https://docs.apify.com/legal/data-processing-addendum). If the data includes personal data, you need a legal basis, for example legitimate interest.
- Inputs and results stay in your Apify account. Apify keeps them as its [data retention rules](https://docs.apify.com/platform/storage/usage?fpr=cliqto#data-retention) say, and you can delete them at any time.
- As developers, Apify shows us statistics about our Actors. For example: number of runs, number of users, success rate and earnings. These numbers do not show who you are. We do not get your payment details.
- We see a run only if you share it with us. You can turn on **Share run data with developers** in your Apify settings (it is off by default), or add a run link to an issue you report. A shared run includes its input, log and results.
- We use shared runs only to find and fix problems. We do not use them to identify you, we do not share them, and we do not keep copies longer than needed.
- If you send us a run ID or input to get help, we use it only to fix your problem.
- For a run you share with us, you stay the controller. We look at it only on your behalf and only to help you.

**Data outside the EU.** Cloudflare, Google and Apify may process data outside the European Union, for example in the United States. These companies protect such transfers with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as their own policies explain: [Cloudflare](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/), [Google](https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks), [Apify](https://docs.apify.com/legal/data-processing-addendum).

**Partner links.** Some links on this site are partner (affiliate) links, not only links to Apify. A partner link has a small tag that tells the partner you came from us. **Other links.** We also link to other websites, for example source sites, docs and social networks such as X. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

## How long we keep data

- **Technical request data.** Cloudflare keeps it for a short time, as described in its own policy. We do not keep separate server logs.
- **Emails.** We keep emails for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. After that, we delete them.
- **Business records.** If an email is about a payment or a business deal, we may need to keep it longer to meet tax or accounting rules. We keep it only as long as the law requires.

You can ask us to delete your emails earlier. See "Your rights".

## Your rights

You have rights over your personal data. Depending on where you live, laws like the GDPR (EU and UK) and the CCPA (California) give you these rights:

- **Access.** Ask what data we have about you and get a copy.
- **Correction.** Ask us to fix data that is wrong or incomplete.
- **Deletion.** Ask us to delete your data.
- **Objection.** Ask us to stop using your data for a reason based on legitimate interest.
- **Restriction.** Ask us to pause the use of your data while we check a request.
- **Portability.** Ask for your data in a common format.
- **No sale.** We do not sell or share personal data for ads, so there is nothing to opt out of.

We will not treat you worse because you use your rights.

You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We would like the chance to help you first, so please write to us.

**Children.** This website and our software are for businesses and people aged 16 and over. They are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.

## Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or products change. We will change the "Last updated" date on this page. If a change is important, we will also say so clearly on this page.

### Do you use cookies?
We do not use tracking cookies on this site. In fact, we set no cookies at all. We run no ad trackers. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies.

### How do I ask about my data?
Email us at hello@cliqtomedia.com. We will reply and help, usually within a few days and always within 30 days.

### Do you see my data when I run your tools on Apify?
Only if you share a run with us. By default we see only statistics, like the number of runs and the success rate. If you turn on run sharing in your Apify settings, or add a run link to an issue, we can see that run's input, log and results. We use them only to fix problems.
