About these terms

This website, cliqtomedia.com, is run by Cliqto Media. Cliqto Media is an independent digital media company. We build our own brands, websites and tools. Our tools are Apify Actors, which run on the Apify platform, and browser extensions, which run in your browser. Browser extensions have separate terms on their product pages. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Cliqto Media. "You" means any person or company that uses this website or our tools.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be 16 or older to use this website and our software.

These terms are written in plain English. They are not legal advice. If you need advice for your own project, talk to a lawyer.

Using this website

This website gives information about our products, our brands, guides, reviews and recommendations. You can read it for free. There are no accounts and no paid features on this site.

When you use the site, please do not:

• try to break, overload or attack the site;
• try to get access to systems or data that are not public;
• copy large parts of the site and publish them as your own;
• use the site for anything illegal.

Our content. The texts, designs and code on this site belong to Cliqto Media, unless we say otherwise. You may share links and short quotes with a link back to us. Code samples in our guides are free to use in your own projects.

Trademarks of others. Names and logos of other companies belong to their owners. We use them only to show which data sources and tools our Actors work with, and to write about products we review or recommend. This does not mean that these companies support us, work with us or approve our tools. If you own a mark and want us to change how we show it, write to us.

Information "as is". We try to keep the information correct and up to date. But websites and APIs change often. Prices, features and limits may change. Always check the tool page on Apify before you rely on it.

Reviews are opinion. Our reviews and recommendations are our opinion. Check the details on the product website before you buy.

Our Actors on Apify

Our Apify Actors run on the Apify platform. Our browser extensions run in your browser. We do not run tools on this website.

When you use our Actors:

• you need an Apify account;
• the Apify Terms of Use apply to your account, your runs and your payments;
• Apify's Store and legal terms also apply to tools in Apify Store;
• prices are shown on each tool page in Apify Store, and Apify bills you;
• support questions about a tool can go to the tool's Issues tab on Apify, or to us by email.

Each tool has a description and an input page on Apify. Please read them before you run a tool. Some tools have limits, for example a maximum number of results or pages.

We may change or remove tools. We improve our tools often. We may change inputs, outputs, prices or features. We may also stop a tool, for example if a source site changes or if the tool is no longer useful. We try to give notice in the tool's changelog when a change is large. You can follow changes on our changelog.

Free and paid use. Some tools may be free to try. Paid use of an Actor is a deal between you and Apify, under Apify's terms. Refunds and billing questions go to Apify. Our browser extensions have their own terms, linked on each extension page.

Your responsibility for data use

Our tools collect public data from websites and APIs. You decide what to collect and how to use it. You are responsible for using the data in a legal way.

Before you collect data, please check that you:

• follow the source site's rules. Read its terms of use and respect any limits it sets. Some sites do not allow automated access;
• respect copyright. Text, images and videos may be protected. Do not republish content you do not have the right to use;
• follow privacy laws. Laws like the GDPR (EU and UK) and the CCPA (California) protect personal data. If your data includes people's names, emails or profiles, you need a legal reason to collect and use it;
• do not collect sensitive data. Do not use our tools to collect data about health, religion, politics, sex life, children, or other sensitive topics about people;
• do not use data to harm people. No spam, stalking, fraud, discrimination or harassment;
• use reasonable settings. Do not run tools in a way that overloads a source site.

We do not check how you use the data. We may stop or block use of our tools if we see clear misuse, and we may report illegal use to Apify.

If you are not sure that your use is legal, ask a lawyer before you start.

Links to other sites

This website links to other websites, for example Apify, source sites, docs and social networks. Some links are partner (affiliate) links, for example our links to Apify. See our affiliate disclosure.

We do not control other websites. We are not responsible for their content, products, prices or privacy practices. When you leave our site, their terms and policies apply.

No warranty

This website and the information on it are provided "as is" and "as available". Our tools are also provided "as is".

We do our best, but we do not promise that:

• the site or a tool will always work, or work without errors;
• a tool will always return complete or correct data;
• a tool will work with every website, forever;
• the information on this site is always complete or current.

Source websites can change at any time. This can break a tool or change its results until we fix it.

Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, direct or indirect, such as lost profits, lost data, lost business or costs of other tools. This includes loss from using or not being able to use this site or our tools. You use this site and our tools at your own risk.

Some laws do not allow these limits. If such a law applies to you, these limits apply only as far as that law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you cannot give up by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add new products. We will change the "Last updated" date on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply to you.

If one part of these terms is not valid, the other parts still apply.
