Privacy policy: Bulk Post Scheduler for X

What the Bulk Post Scheduler for X extension stores, what it sends and who to ask.

This policy is for the browser extension Bulk Post Scheduler for X (Twitter) – CSV & Excel ("the extension") for Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Opera. In Firefox and Opera it is listed as Bulk Post Scheduler for X – CSV & Excel. Inside the extension it is shown as X Bulk Scheduler. It is made by Cliqto Media (cliqtomedia.com). The extension schedules posts to your X account from a CSV or Excel (XLSX) file. It works through the regular x.com web interface. This policy explains what data the extension handles and where it goes.

Summary

  • The extension has no servers, no user accounts and no analytics.
  • What you import is stored in your browser.
  • Your posts and media go to x.com only after you press Start, in the x.com tab you connected.

Data the extension stores

The extension stores this data in your browser's local extension storage (IndexedDB) on your computer:

  • the files you import: post texts, dates and times, time zones, alt texts, thread structure;
  • the images, GIFs and videos you add;
  • your settings;
  • a log of what the extension did: the result of each post, the X handle you confirmed, and the IDs and times of scheduled posts that X returned.

Local media cleanup is on by default. It removes a file after its post is scheduled. Shared files stay while other queued posts still need them.

Removing data

Removing a post from Queue does not delete it from X. Posts that may be in X are hidden, but their full local record remains. This includes post text, alt text, times and identifiers. The same is true when you hide scheduled posts. These records support the local limit and duplicate checks. Removing or hiding posts also removes their media from this browser. Settings can clear media only when no remaining post needs it. To remove all extension data, uninstall the extension.

Your choices and access

  • See your data. The Queue screen shows the posts you imported. The Log screen shows what the extension did.
  • Save a copy. On the Log screen, use Save to a file. Results is a CSV file. Archive is a JSON file with all posts and runs, including post texts. Diagnostics is a JSON file without post texts or pictures. The files go to your Downloads folder. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Remove posts. Remove a post from the list, or hide scheduled posts. They stay in X. See "Removing data" above.
  • Clear media. In Settings, you can remove the media files of posts that are already scheduled or removed.
  • Delete everything. Uninstall the extension. Your browser then deletes all extension data on this computer.
  • Ask us. Write to [email protected]. We do not have a copy of your extension data. So we cannot see, change or delete it for you. You control it in your browser.

Security

Your extension data stays in your browser profile on your computer. It is not sent to Cliqto Media, so there is no copy on our side. People who can use your browser profile can see this data. Protect your computer and your browser profile with a password.

Data the extension sends

The extension sends your post texts and media only to x.com, and only after you press Start. It fills in X's own composer and Schedule dialog in your x.com tab, as you would by hand. Media uploads start while a post is prepared. X may receive files even if you cancel before scheduling. X's own privacy policy covers what X does with this content.

The extension does not automatically send any data to Cliqto Media or to any third party.

Data the extension reads on x.com

The extension reads what the x.com page shows: the composer, the Schedule dialog, messages from X and your account handle.

Content scripts load on x.com pages. They observe only scheduling and media-metadata requests and their results. This can happen before you connect a tab or start a run. Request details can include post text, thread structure, media identifiers, alt text and the chosen time. A temporary buffer in the page holds recent events for verification. Scheduling actions run only in the tab you connect, after you press Start.

The extension notices when you click or type in the X tab, so it can pause. It does not record what you click or type.

The extension does not read passwords, cookies or tokens. It does not change request headers or payloads.

Exports and support

Exported files are saved to your device. If you email support, Cliqto Media receives your email and any diagnostic file you attach. Diagnostics include browser information, run times, status codes and counts. They exclude post text and pictures. Uninstalling the extension does not delete exported files, sent emails or posts already sent to X. Support emails are covered by our website privacy policy.

Limited Use

Cliqto Media follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The same practices apply to the versions in Microsoft Edge Add-ons, Firefox Add-ons and Opera add-ons. We use user data only to provide the extension's single purpose. We do not sell it or use it for advertising or credit decisions.

Sharing and sale

Cliqto Media does not sell, transfer or share user data. Data is used only to schedule the posts you imported.

Children

The extension is for people aged 16 and over. It is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
